Designed and created by artists Niki Glen and Helen Helwig for the interior entrance to the YMCA offices, the heavily-textured mosaic mural depicts a desert landscape. Within the tranquil landscape mosaic are recognition tiles. The triangular tiles creating the ground are subtly inscribed with donors names.

As part of a fund-raising project, all the donor names are fitted together to create the foundation of the desert landscape. This symbolic link between the donors and the land, represents the interdependence between the YMCA community and the natural beauty of the Sonoran ecosystem.
